So it looks like most of the wfh jobs are going towards hybrid and will soon return to pathetic 5 day wfo just like old days
The freedom and peace which we enjoyed for the last 2 years is on its last legs.
When we assumed world has changed for good and finally we can have it all ...we are back to our old ways that to without any rational resoning

I have two job offers from start-up companies:

Option 1 - well known fintech company and about to go IPO. Will be doing corporate tax. Probably will turn into hybrid of WFH/coming into the office.

Option 2 - series A (been around about 3 years). Tax operation with high possibility of being exposed to other areas in accounting and finance of the company. Fully remote.

Compensation from both companies are the same. I would appreciate some advice on which option would you choose and why.

I'm seeing a lot of teachers post that one advantage of remote teaching is fewer disruptions. While this is true, I also notice less engagement. I have students who are clearly looking down and doing something else (probably texting on phone?). Now that I can't ban cell phones in class, what can I do?
