Hey, you live there. I figure you have something to wear. Down here I rarely wear a coat. I think I have one somewhere. BTW I played golf on Sunday and had to wear long sleeves.
That’s the beauty of being able to work from anywhere.
Hell no!! Why do you live where the air can kill you?!?
Maybe they would close If you were in Florida?
To clarify, a high of -12 means that the high is more like -25 to -30 when you account for the wind chill.
Minneapolis?
Chicago
Ya with windchill it’s suppose to be -40 for the low
To be fair, climate change places a big part in this. It’s not like I moved to Chicago and thought-can’t wait to live in a place colder than Siberia
Also from Chicago area. Suburbs are prepping to close down a lot of things like schools and smaller shops. Maybe even the larger shops. Even today there were clients working from home. With busy season and it being Chicago, it'll probably be an "up to your team" kind of decision. But know that any cars left out over night may not start. Public transport is gonna try to run, but it's gonna be brutal for stations and stops that don't have an indoor area for passengers to wait in. Any snow left from today and tomorrow will freeze, and not all places are going to use the right kind of ice melt for it to be effective in these temps. It will vary based on where your client is, but Wednesday is gonna be a mess for everyone.
OP did it close?
