Hello,
Last Wednesday I was able to get a Deloitte job referral, I applied the next day. Yesterday I signed in to my account and it shows that I applied for the job but when I click on the link it show me an error page. I searched for the job on the website itself and it disappeared. There were like multiple positions but different locations, now they’re all expired. What does this mean? Did they choose a candidate already? It’s weird it never happened to me before
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Can’t you look while working? $38k seems wildly low for a director level position anywhere, tbh.
Do you want to stay working for museums? If not, what about looking into something more generic and high paying where you could utilize basic business skill sets (I’m thinking general professional services like consulting).
You’re first issue is living in Pueblo lol
Tell me about lol, I want to move but I need to secure a good job first. I'm looking for anything in colorado
What’s the cost of living like?
It's pretty low, but everything is going up except the wages

There's very little risk in job hunting while employed, so long as you aren't interfering with your current responsibilities in doing so. You can have a new job lined up, and start date set, and your current employer won't know anything until you tell them that you're leaving.
Alright, I'll start there. Thank you
I used to work at a museum so know the employment landscape a little. I know the museum world is small and that people talk but I would definitely interview for other positions. I know a lot of museums especially smaller museums don’t have the budgets to pay a lot but $38k is definitely pretty low. I made $38k as an entry level employee at a nonprofit in 2012 in dc (COL in dc is high, but still). How large is the museum you work at ($ and numbers of employees) and how many YOE do you have? If it’s 2 YOE overall, you might not be able to get a large increase of more than $10-20k without leaving CO. You have to remember larger museums with bigger budgets will be getting more senior people with more qualifications so you may not be able to get a director level position elsewhere.
Awesome, I think I will try and make it out there. Thank you for putting me in the right direction.
Imo, you can go out there and look for a better job suitable for you, but don't quit that current job just yet until you sure you found a better pay job then you can make the announcement of quitting. Also remember to invest little of your income into potentials investment and watch how you grow your money. Make your money work for you!
