Good luck , just got mine on Tuesday

I've had both doses, little chills after the first dose. No other side effects.

Hubby had both doses of Pfizer with no issues. 81 year old parents got Moderna last week with no issues either. Patiently waiting for my turn. Good luck!

Got my 1st today. Very fatigued.

We have had both Pfizer shots. Wife and disabled adult daughter had no issues. I had a bad headache the second day, but only for one day.

Day 2 update
Hurting:
Back
Legs
Neck
Whole arm where I got the shot
Head
Even my eyeballs

Well feeling better today. Thankfully.

Update: 2nd dose made me sick for a few days and have been fatigued for 2 weeks

My husband is addicted to video games. We both work full time. As soon as he gets home he heads straight for the PlayStation. He will play from 6PM to 2AM. He then relies on me to wake him up for work at 5AM. You can imagine how that goes…. Our marriage is suffering because we spend no time together. I’ve tried to have conversations with him to lay off the games. He gets mad and says I’m a destroyer of happiness. Marriage therapist/ div lawyers must have had input in these games to secure $!

Okay so this isn't a traditional staying healthy question but it kind of is. For those who are dating, especially when you're not exclusive, how do you have the STD conversation? Do you ask for tests prior to getting intimate? Do you just avoid any actual contact and rely on barriers to do the work? Do you just wing it and pray for the best? I find having these conversations dampens the chemistry, but its also needed to stay healthy. Thoughts on when being paranoid is too much?

I quit drinking at the first of the year because I was drinking too much as a way to cope with Covid. 99.9% of the time, I’m glad I quit drinking. And then there are those nights when I just want a glass of something to take the edge off, which makes me think alcohol was more of a coping mechanism than I thought and it’s probably a good thing I’m not drinking. I don’t even like wine very much, but I miss that low level buzz that makes everything a little less loud.

Applying for a job and the form has a required field to upload a portfolio right after a field to include your portfolio URL. I only have an online portfolio. Really don't want to spend time laying out another portfolio in InDesign just so I can create a pdf. Would it be weird to design a one page pdf that gives the link to my online portfolio? Anyone else ever run into this issue and how did you solve?

This is a legit question so don’t hate me just trying to understand if it’s worth it or not. What is the draw of applying to M7? I understand elite status, but based on research the median total comp for an M7 grad is 185k as of 2020 study (2019 data) and the average age of the students in these programs is 27/28. I know going to MBB they have pretty specific comp coming out for M7 grads but outside of those three firms, what is the draw? Trying to justify spending 200k for a degree.

My observation is that it is hard for consulting partners to land the quality public or private board roles everyone naturally targets. Despite there being a significant amount of exceptional talent that could be deployed, there is a big bias against consultants. Everyone wants “operators,” but I feel every board could also benefit from one current or former consulting partner. But sadly, that’s not the way the external world looks at things...
