I'm continuing to wear leggings as I WFH to avoid testing whether or not my jeans still fit. I know I can get them on but I think it'll be a similar scenario to what you've described. Guess I should make a point to work out a bit longer today 😅

It's so liberating to go a size up and feel like your clothes actually fit & flatter you.

I know!! And that's why I ordered size 4 but was dumb and pulled this crap. Argh. Never again

like

Same girl same. Used to wear size 6 in GA and they were loose, now can barely move and had to unbutton after eating so went up a size and feel way better. No one knows what size my pants are so comfort wins always!

like

Yeah. I was dumb for a moment and thought size 2 would give me a better shape?!?! Argh. They're all nice anyway, should have gone with 4! Now idk if I can eat lunch lol

I know the feeling (but 10 to 12 🙃). I’m sure you look great regardless, but no one knows what size you’re wearing. Get comfortable and wear those 4’s! ❤️

Love old navy pants/jeans!

None of my pants from last year go up my thigh or butt. Abhor wearing skinny jeans so leggings only for a bit

like

I had ordered bigger jeans but I still choose dresses over jeans/pants. If it's not leggings or sweatpants, I don't want it!

like

But you still a size 4 thoooooo 🙌🏾 You’re tiny! Just slightly less tiny. lol

Wear clothes that fit you - it’s not worth being uncomfortable at work

DL1961 or Joe jeans have a nice stretch material ;)

I got sick with what I at first thought was stomach bug last Sunday (vomiting, fatigue, then crazy chills and body aches). Lasted 1 day. My nose was also a bit congested, so went to get a pcr on Monday and got a positive result. Tested again at 2 diff places on Wed - 2 negatives. All pcr. Had no symptoms since Sunday. Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Was it just false positive (everyone’s been saying that almost never happens), or just super mild case of Covid?

Black tie wedding planned for fall ‘21. Two questions for you classy folk: 1) I only have 1 real (non apple) watch 2020 JLC Master Control - but it is silver with light brown band (I always wear brown dress shoes). Is it too uncouth to wear it with black shoes / black tux? What about a navy tux (still prob have to do black shoes tho). 2) As you guys climb the latter, are there really ever occasions (COVID notwithstanding) where a tux is warranted? Debating buy vs. rent. Thanks!!

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right question but I’d like to be fitter. I’m 230lb and 5’8 so it’s really bad. Because of covid I haven’t gone to the gym, I have 2 weights at home. Any recommendations on workouts from home? Running or jogging hurts like hell so I’ve been trying to walk at least 5 miles per day, some push-ups and sit-ups. I have watched a few videos online as well. Thank you guys

So, a spot I made (concept to completion) got shelved due to COVID forcing the client’s marketing plan to change. During that time, my partner and I were laid off. Recently, the spot aired, but the agency credits a different team for the work – me, my parter, and my CDs aren’t listed. Do I ask the agency to correct it? Just throw it in my book with explanation? Just take the L and chalk it up to that being how the industry is?

Giving notice soon for in-house role, and thinking about giving more than 2 weeks. Is this dumb? I'm getting ramped up on work on very small teams, and things are being planned in advance for clients with my schedule in mind, but I know I won't be here for that. The split will be an amicable one, and I have no reason to think they would fire me on the spot (big "culture" emphasis here), although of course that's a concern. Anyone navigated this before and have any insight?
