Just a confidence booster that were all doing the right thing: pre-Covid, you could only really remote if u were a bosss. U had to have an incredible book with so many connections. For the vast majority, it was very difficult to do. But with Covid and going remote, we’re all in a great place with many more gig opportunities. And realistically, most FTers are going to have to go into the office between 1-3x per week in the future. Agencies are still unsure how to do this.

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.
