So one of Oreo’s (human) friends that he had not seen for a couple months came to visit him today. There was so much cuddles and kisses given ...I was jealous for a second.

Our Dave is like this with anyone who comes to our house. Not that we had a lot of visitors before Covid, but now anyone who comes by he assumes that they are here to see him. It so funny to see how excited he gets.

This week I the my first date and first sexual encounter since my recent divorce (10 yrs together).

I feel very conflicted because the woman I saw is so similar to my ex physically (age/race/height/weight/haircolor) The more we talk, the more I realize their personality, interests and history are also very similar.

Really ruminating on this fact. I like her a lot but I feel like I might be unconsciously seeking familiarity as some kind of strange way to cope with the loss of the relationship.

Has anyone been in a relationship where it’s so wrong but feels so right at the same time? Wrong in the sense that we are different religions, speak different languages (common language is English) and have an overall different outlook on life. Right in the sense that he treats me so well, he’s grounded and driven. I am so torn.

Do you think using “him/her” for “he/she” (ex: “her is playing” “him not here yet”) is something that kids usually grow out of? Or does it need direct intervention? I have 2 students who exhibit this error, who otherwise should be dismissed. Normally I’d just keep them on and work on it alongside other goals, but they don’t have any other goals, and with COVID, and my upcoming maternity leave in March, a more compact caseload would be advantageous.

We're almost two lessons ahead of where we were, and I don't know how they're going to catch up while staying on track with what we're learning right now.

Hi fellow dog lovers - Sorry to bring up this topic🙈 but just realized I have no idea how to handle the inevitable. My fur baby is 16 yrs old (small breed) and in great health but is noticeably aging. I am thinking ahead even though I don't want to. Is there any unique way to bury a pet? I have never had a pet this long or had one pass so I am not sure what I would do. I was thinking of burying in the back yard but I know we may move in the next year or so. How have you lovingly said goodbye?
