Praying for you! But! Use this opportunity to band together as a faculty and Run That School until another, hopefully better principal can found. There’s nothing worse than a principal who wrecks a school and kills moral. The only thing worse is losing your long time secretary. Those ladies and gent are invaluable to a well run school. Best of luck!

Agree! Time for Teacher-Managers to run that school. Stretched as you may be, try to take the reins.

You’re not the only school or school district in transition so we all need to stick together and work the hours that we are being paid to work A few years ago I was working with a teacher who told me her job was 730 to 230 but she did not take materials home and that if she was going to have any training it should be done while she is being paid Needless to say when I think about integrity to profession whatever your profession it questions why people do certain jobs I’ve had the opportunity to have multiple careers in my life including being a registered nurse and still having my license I guarantee you I was there early and stayed late and I was on the time clock and when I was in charge of units I was calling up on Saturdays and Sundays making sure the staffing was sufficient if there is any problems needing that I might need to find other people to cover that’s what called commitment is that’s what integrity is and if you choose to educate our students should have those things if you don’t have the time to do them then they love those baggers at the grocery store you don’t have to think at all sorry I know that’s a little brutal but I’m in that mood this morning where I’ve been answering emails

I agree that teachers need boundaries. I believe a balanced life is so much better! Hours of work and hours for play. There are times when you will need to put in some extra time and there are times when you will need extra time off. That’s life.

I feel so sorry for your school's faculty and students. Try to keep the faith and do the best job you can do under the difficult circumstances.

It will be better though! My thoughts are with you🙂

I am definitely praying for you that God gives your school guidance, a new principal that will put the need of students and staff priority. God’s covering, favor over you.

I pray that you will have amazing leadership this year and that you will feel safe at your school.

In my district, all the top positions were vacated by retirements. I have a new principal, new Superintendent, and a new Director of Educational services. We are moving forward but everyone has to learn a new learning system. I will pray for you

I hope and pray they find you a really great principal.

Thinking of you. We had an awesome principal who just resigned. Our assistant principal resigned a month ago. The superintendent parted ways in November. The CFO retired. The head of special ed resigned. A principal from another building was removed (and given a job for the next year since deadlines weren’t met) and one other assistant principal left and the other became the school’s principal. 💥

My district pays really well and has great benefits for my family. And I am the primary source of income.

That’s positive news. I’m sure your district will find a better principal.

Yeah it’s been needing to happen. The problem is they have no confidence in any of the other admin on campus to be an interim. So they are looking outside our school. Just going to be very hard to find someone that would want to step into that mess

I’ve had good reviews from the former, and mixed reviews from the latter. Wondering if this is anxiety or intuition.
