Hi! I have recently taken a step back from my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and am trying to find my next move. My family keeps recommending medical sales, my bank account recommends finishing the degree that cost me an arm and a leg, and my heart is conflicted in so many areas of interest - PT, Psych, sales, etc. I am currently working as a patient care technician but do not see this as my end goal. Any recommendations on sales vs PT vs psychology vs really anything? Thank you!!
IT audit exit opps suck
Then switch to consulting
I wish, I think the easiest way is to go to a target MBA, but that’s just going to be 100k in debt especially with a B4 salary and where the consultants get it reimbursed too... so fucking demoralizing how different it is
You mad they’re doing their job?
I’ve fallen victim to the rat race I guess
That's cause their services are actually valued. I feel your pain but try to focus your energy on how to better yourself and switch to a better career, rather than just being upset at those people.
When I was recruiting for undergrad they only hired from my school audit, risk, and tax. I have requested an internal transfer at D and was not able to get an interview.
IT audit has better learning opportunities
I interned (part time) at Deloitte during my bachelor in IT audit team, I discovered you did not need a degree for the work and that every engagement was extremely similar and that there was little left to learn after 4 months.
