So started a new role that leans on contract recruiters - we need to phase out a recruiter because pay is too high - she is with an agency who will place her elsewhere. My question has anyone dealt with a similar situation. Is it common to keep the current recruiter in place for a week or two to help with ramp up and training; or, just better to make a clean break. Just curious as to best approach.

Took job opportunity as “Marketing Rep” and within 2 weeks I’ve well outperformed expectations and have received a new title “Marketing Manager” without asking.
