Hi all , want to know how xerox is as a company to work for !? What is a good compensation for a mid senior level solution architect ? I see it's completely remote but the role requires travel . Other than that I would really like to know if it's a good company to choose when it comes to work life balance. Xerox" class="linkified" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" >Thanks.Xerox

EY M3 NYC. What is the salary range?
Congratulations on making it past 10/15!
Deloitte or PWC?
Let the guy get a permanent job like you have...lol. They could’ve fired him immediately so he can leave immediately
I know your upset that your workload, but the temp did the right thing for him/her. Having done temp work in the past, there is zero security. I’ve seen people hired in the morning and let go that evening. No real explanation, just a “we don’t think it’s going to work”. You always have to take the permanent position.
I don’t blame him. He needs a permanent position.
Your team can hire another temp
Coach
All rules about giving notice don’t apply to temps. If you want more of a commitment , don’t hire temps 🤷🏼♂️ And this isn’t a knock on temps by the way, it’s about companies that won’t offer any security at all, then get offended when people leave for FT offers.
Coach
Why is your workload doubling? Shouldn’t they distribute the work among the 3 on your team and try to hire someone else? (Not necessarily a person - you can hire a firm to help. $$ but desperate times ...)
Sucks but he has to lookout for what is best for.him which usually means not best for someone else in this case.

Thanks for the feedback! My manager took him on as a temp as the director didn’t like him enough to give him the permanent position. If it was up to me I would have hired him as permanent. My manager now says she will hire another temp to help us out. Anyhow it made me look good, him leaving, as I am staying & doing the work.
Agree with TS1. This mindset is only a detriment to you. Establish boundaries or else you will be worked until you burn out. It’s already on track to happen, evidenced by the fact your bosses won’t hire adequate staff. They are just going to use you up instead. The people you need to be mad at are your whack superiors who won’t properly staff their firm.
Not great, but employment is at will.
