Note: Ive made no mention of me attending an interview with another employer nor my lack desire to deal with this establishments self-centered motives to anyone.

Can someone advise what to do in this situation?

OK folks, I'm kind of pissed. I interviewed with a dream company, made it to 6 interviews (all the way up to VP). Weeks later the recruiting manager shares they went with someone internally, no feedback. Today I see the same position being promoted. Do I pursue the same role or take this as a sign that I wasnt a good fit after all and let it go?

Does base vs bonus really matter? I have an offer for 160k with 15k sign on. I was hoping for ~180k bonus (without sign on). But doing the math, it comes out very close to as if I’d have a 175k base without sign on? Maybe I used wrong tax rates? Anyone can help?

Professional in the Midwest with 5 years experience. Recently got an offer for a fully-remote (main benefit I want) Senior Business Systems Analyst role at $112k base + 10% Bonus + Equity Grant of $20k in the next 4 years (basically an additional $5k / year).

This seems more than in line with the national average for this position.

My main counter that I would like to ask for is a $10k Signing-Bonus.

Is the Equity Grant basically the Signing-Bonus?

A recruiter presented an offer at X salary plus benefits. When they offered the job I accepted via email with x salary + benefits. I had to wait a week for the official offer letter to come from the company. When I received it, it stated a lower base plus bonus- combined were lower then the x base I accepted over email with the recruiter. There is a $12k discrepancy in the base salary now. How can a recruiter fix this mistake?

I’m a web developer and I’ve been with the same company for 14 years. I’m making $45,000 a year. I’ve asked for a significant raise several times as my work load has only been increasing.
