Deloitte 🐠, Qq about the well-being subsidy- how exactly is it paid out? I entered a 60$ well being expense and on our paycheck last week it appeared as an extra line gross income “well being subsidy” for $60.00, but then also showed up under deductions as “well being subsidy” for $60.00, I tried to reconciled the amount but it seems like I actually didn’t get the money? Any insight here?
Who's in CDP on da bench? ☀️🌊
So in summary:
Traditional consulting - shrinking / wait and see
Alix / FTI / bankruptcy guys - business is up
Very insightful everyone
I 2nd the above. Though I have to say the nature of the work that we do (I’m thinking about our consulting practice, which drives a significant majority of the business - not bankruptcy or restructuring) lends itself well to times of uncertainty and fear.
I don’t think business is “up”, but it hasn’t been affected enough to impact our staffing, hiring, or comp.
Disclosure: heavy emphasis on “I think”, this is purely anecdotal as leading metrics of firm performance (in period sales, staffing, pipe , etc.) are way above my pay grade.
No express changes at Accenture, but lower revenue means less money in the bonus/compensation pools, which means promotions will get it first, then high performers, etc.
People who are spending months on the bench (for any reason, their fault or not) probably shouldn’t bank on seeing a raise.
First we instituted no raises, then mandatory PTO usage, and just finished round three of lay-offs on 04/30.
Don’t worry though, Managers and up still received their bonuses.
“People (don’t) matter, (only) results counts”
Oh god
No impact here. Though I’m sure billable hrs will be slightly below budget for the next couple of quarters.
EY has cancelled bonuses and reduced promotion bonuses for SMs.
No effects to bonuses or promos were likely going to pick up hiring after this stabilizes
Korn Ferry has issued a temporary pay cut through end of August, but there are no impacts to bonus - it will remain the same. Unclear on pay raises. That’s pretty good for D - back in ‘09, they did all promos without a raise.
D2, man, I must’ve been in the wrong group!
KPMG cut bonuses for everyone, but it seems promotions are going on as usual. May be a smaller pool of promos tho
