Dm or comment for referral at CitiusTech
Hello fishers...
I want to know that if one is switching from tech roles (developer) to management consulting, is it like starting from zero?
I have inclination towards business analyst roles in tech consulting and towards management consulting roles. Basically a role with less coding and more analytics and problem solving requirements attracts me more.
Any suggestions?

Hey, all! I’ve been at JPMorgan Chase for about five months now — this is my first role in finance/banking, as I majored in corporate communications and worked as a comms consultant for last four years. Happy to answer any Qs for anyone else who’s considering changing industries and/or happy to pass along a referral if you see something at JPMC that you’d be a good fit for.
Who is still hiring? JD/LLM/CPA.

I feel like exit ops are going to get worse and if we stay we will have even less opportunity to do any work that non audit related. I’m jumping ship as fast as I can
This is my worry. I'm not opposed to just riding out a career in IT Audit but it's never good to be too pigeonholed. Industries change. Regulations change. Needs change. Being able to flow between different types of work based on what I leave PwC having in my toolkit is so important and basically why I took a job at the firm in Risk Assurance.
I’ve been in RAS and never been a part of auditing side of services. Ive been doing a lot digital assessment studies and digital strategy development projects. Planning to move to advisory (not soon tho due to COVID) since RAS seems to be a prestige losing thing on my resume as general.
As for you, I have some friends in DAT, but didn’t hear any of them landing on an industry job yet.
PwC 1 - I don’t get it .: you’re in legacy risk assurance but not in process assurance (now DAT) and you aren’t moving to advisory.. what are you in then?
Risk isn’t consulting and never was. The work is so different and that’s why there is the big salary gap and exit oops for it.
