So Trump lied to the American people, and told the leader of a hostile power he wasn’t fazed by their hostile acts against us. This isn’t treason only because we aren’t technically at war.

I don’t disagree, but I don’t know that proxy wars count for the purposes of a treason charge.

No one is really worried about nuclear war, the whole mutual destruction thing has been a pretty good deterrent.

Did you expect Trump to scold Putin for helping him win?

Excuse me? Recognizing reality that countries will try and interfere but trying to stop it is one thing. Sitting in the Oval goddamn Office and encouraging it is something else.

I’m not naive, I’d just hope that the leader of the US has its best interests at heart. If you think that’s naive, then you’re at very best an unredeemable cynic.

didn’t the clinton foundation receive money from russia

Rostram is a state controlled entity though.

The underlying story is a fascinating look at corruption that intertwines political and business spheres. It reminds me of the George Carlin maxim - “it’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.”

What would you expect the salary range to be for a practice manager that manages 20 providers, 16 MA’s, 4 Billers, 4 Schedulers, 4 IVS, and 2 marketing employees. Doing everything from licensing/credentialing, creating policies/SOPs, training and auditing all staff, programming the EHR, managing financials, overseeing the scheduling of 250 locations over 3 states, and much more, basically every aspect of the practice except for treating patients. Not a typical “Practice Manager” position.

Any comments on myWipro portal performance?? For it is so pathetic 😖 Wipro

Moved to Big Law last summer from mid sized firm, but I'm not sure if I'm performing well. I've worked on some good matters but last month or two has had quiet periods (1-2weeks) and a few of the matters I've been put on have been smaller discrete ones rather than a big M&A deal. Although the team isnt too busy overall. I haven't had a "talk" or any general negative feedback. Would the partners mention to me if my performance was below par or is this their way of showing it? Should I ask?

There are four teachers in our grade level. Three teachers keep getting students that transfer from the fourth teachers room to their rooms. Those three teachers have over 30 students in their rooms while the fourth teacher is down to 20 students. I found out I had a new student transferring in at 8:10 this morning. How is that fair?

For IP Litigation folks in life sciences/pharma - what are the likely exit options? The boutique patent lit firms don’t seem to have a lighter workload and it seems like most in house positions require tech transaction and patent persecution experience, which is not easy to get while in big law (since different groups). I am a junior associate and any advice is appreciated.

Don’t understand people who say someone’s profession means they shouldn’t comment on politics (ie. athletes, actors, etc.). Donald Trump literally went from reality TV to politics, which is his right as an American. We also have a football coach running for Senate. Also within his rights. Profession doesn’t mean you give up your voice.
