Let's not make contracting COVID something to be ashamed of. Many people have followed proper protocol ls and still contracted the virus. But yes, he is a buffoon, and supporting him is difficult to understand.

Consulting during corona - I’m interesting in switching to consulting and interviewed with a few firms (pre-COVID) and got an offer plus a few offers put on pause. Last year at this time we were averaging 20 deaths a day from COVID. We were crying for a vaccine. Today we are averaging 40 deaths a day we have the vaccine and they are whining why do we need mandates. Really?

Any advice for lateraling during COVID? I’m starting at a new firm in January (3rd year, big law) and am anxious about getting to know people via Zoom that I’ve never met in person.
