We’re working on this new concept for a virtual Sales breakfast where the team can all get together first thing In the am to welcome our new hires. \n\nWe wanted to send everyone a DoorDash gift card so that could order breakfast/coffee and we treat it kinda like a happy hour. \nThe problem is that we have folks in the US AND Canada. Apparently, if you live in the US you can’t buy DoorDash gift cards for Canada. Does anyone suggestions for a workaround?",

A friend of mine ran into this and they ended up just getting a gift card for their delivery service equivalent or local smoothie place.
Do you have an old employee in Canada, or ask a new employee to buy DoorDash gift cards in Canada and send them to others in Canada. Then, simply reimburse them for the expense and effort.
We have venmo'd our Canadians. It isn't ideal but we never really found a better solution.
