Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

When you’ve figured out your role is to increase scope and grow agency remit and take credit for it. Just scheduling meetings and being a client whisperer doesn’t grow revenue which is the largest indicator of agency role growth/promotion. Not saying that’s not what you’re doing, but that’s where I see account team members getting promoted.
What if there are genuinely no opportunities for growth on the account and the client has fixed remits throughout the year? I see that happening more often than not
Getting hired as a director and above instead of getting promoted into it. Depends on the city of course but in NYC 150k for an AD is normal. I'm stuck in that now, I make less than the median Sup salary as an AD because I got promoted into it. Obviously looking for new employment.
You have to leave or get an offer from somewhere else and see if they’ll match it. Like vmly&r1 said, i also was just promoted and am still below the median for my role.
Wondering the same
For me at Sup level. But I know to break into the next tax bracket I'll likely have to get hired into a new role at a new company.
when you say? maybe 10 years ago they do that
I’m at $80k as a Supervisor, so I’d say at Account Director level. The average salary I’ve seen is between $95k-$140k. It’s also the largest range because it depends how seasoned you are. Like someone else said, this is where you’re expected to bring in revenue and clients, and it’s more about people management than project management. All subjective though!
Thanks for that insight for OP! That makes sense at WPP or a bigger agency. I am pulling from the smaller agencies I’ve interviewed at for reference.
