I got a resignation acknowledgement email the next day, but after that, nothing. Is there any intermediate step I'm missing out on? Or do we simply sit ducks till they reach out?

I’ve been in the industry for just about 5 years. 4 of them in creative. This year, the reality set in that I don’t see myself doing this long term. I’m at the ACD / Senior Writer level. I have a CD title but swing between imposter syndrome and bitterness that I am underpaid/undervalued and want to hear from others if I would ever be taken seriously elsewhere. I make 108k/NYC at a non-agency “media company”. I have no prior relevant experience for this role, I just sort of fell into it. I draw storyboards, strategize, write scripts, make decks, direct shoots, art direct/set dress/food style shoots, am on screen talent/creator, etc. No direct reports. Been here 2 yrs. 😕
