Does anyone see a shift in the industry wherein less emphasis is placed on billiable hours? I used to work at a firm where the average stint for an associate is 1 year or less. They lost clients as the clients got sick of seeing a new associate on their files every 6 months. The founding partner was near retirement so his goal was to maximize revenue rather than long term career development. I don’t see this as sustainable especially given millennial culture emphasis on work-life balance.

Finally doing what I should’ve done 18 months ago- starting an s corp for my firm. Recommendations on payroll services? I’m a solo. No staff or other attorneys.

I wanted some information on how to do it and it's consequences in the following case. Keeping in mind it's for MNCs mainly TCS
1. Saying no to an offer letter
2. Asking the recruiter to delay the deadline for my acceptance of offer letter.
3. Rejecting the job after accepting offer letter and before joining.

Looking for a (consulting) start up or innovation related role or even PhD within the financial industry in Switzerland. Any suggestions? I already live here, so it's more about in case you have any leads to shorten the process 😊

Persistent is giving 5 lakhs as other bonus and this is part of CTC, and they have mentioned that this is special skill bonus for java spring boot. If my project is switched will this bonus remain or i will no longer get this.

I have QA profile with 6yrs of experience. From last 2yrs I have been working in cloud testing role with exposure of AWS/Azure. I have an offer of 13lpa fixed +1lpa variable from Cogni but not sure what kind of project they'll put me into as they have not cleared that yet. I want to build my career in cloud technologies, am AWS cloud practitioner certified.
