I have stumbled my way into being a Data Management “SME”. I am leading projects performing source to target mappings, data lineage, building data controls like data quality rules, designing database schemes, building ETLs, etc.

So I started at a new role at a known retailer about 2 months ago. I am their first hire in this role, as I have more than 5 years of relevant experience leading initiatives and optimizing process across departments. While I understand it takes time to adjust to the culture, its seems like all I have witnessed is resistance to change. Thoughts on giving your two + weeks notice after you’ve been told you’re receiving a bonus (and it would actually be paid while you’re still at your current firm just after you’ve told them you’re leaving)? Or does everyone just wait until their bonus actually hits their bank account? Being able to give my two weeks early/mid December would be a lot better for me but don’t want to jeopardize not getting my bonus (which comes usually 3rd week of December).

Anyone have experience with delinquent CLE credits? I was sworn in in fall 2019 and in around the summer/fall of 2021, took a leave of absence for health reasons from my firm for a few months. Did not realize that I hadn’t completed my 2nd Year Newly Admitted Attorney CLE requirement by fall 2021.
