Went for the first time a couple of weeks back. What a waste of time and money. Least productive day in a year. Had to wake up early, my daily routine of taking a dump in the morning was interrupted, had to sit next to a couple of loud rugby lads, had to deal with one 24” HD screen instead of my own 38” QHD one and had to leave at a specific time because train schedules. Thankfully we agreed as a team to meet at the office biweekly and the rest of the time from home or client.

Hi fishes. I had cleared the online assessment and technical round at Accenture India/Accenture. So they asked me to share the offer letters that i have and the salary that i am expecting. I have 8 LPA from TCS and 9.6 LPA from one other company. The HR is offering me only 6.1 LPA which is very low even from market as well as accenture standards. Any advice on how can i negotiate the salary or what should i do? 🥺

My current company made it to IPO, and I’m thinking about leaving to join a startup (things are simply too corporate and bureaucratic now - I’m bored, underutilized, and feel like I’ve hit a career growth ceiling). I stumbled into my current role with a fair amount of chance and luck, and this is the first time I’m proactively seeking to join a startup. What do I need to look for?!?

As someone who is not from the UK but lives here, seems like the focus of the COVID conversations boils down to ‘protecting the NHS.’ Shouldn’t the NHS be protecting us though? Sick of lockdowns and there doesn’t seem to be a significant difference in long-term outcome anyway. I feel that we need to be given a risk rating based on certain factors and those in lower risk categories should be allowed to go about their lives and run the economy as usual. Tier 5 sounds awful - I oppose it. Thoughts?

Hello friends! Hope y'all have an amazing weekend. Recommendation needed:

I'm moving to London in a month time and looking to rent a room in a shared apartment or house. Looking at areas that are closed to supermarkets and preferably on the Central, Piccadilly or Northern lines in zone 1 / 2.

Modern apartments / townhouse would be great but have seen really nice old houses, any recommendations on areas to look at or if you know anyone looking for a roommate, pls lemme know :p
