Following the right people on LinkedIn is a game-changer. I follow quite a few folks who have side hustles in recruiting. Last week, one reshared a virtual recruiting event for a big tech firm. I registered and it just so happened that the event was the same day. After the speaking portion of the event, they had opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with recruiters. After, I was sent a link to a role to apply to. That conversation led to an interview this week.

I feel like my net worth is finally snowballing. Ive been tracking my net worth monthly for the last 6 years. At end of 2019, I was at 400k. It was remarkable to see myself at 600k by end of 2020.

I had set a goal of 800k by end of 2021, but I'm already at 730k just a little over a month in. Main drivers have been the market's strong performance, Google stock, RE appreciation and salary increases. Feeling blessed 🙏
