IBM is offering me the position of Test Specialist with 7A band but it has offered the position of Senior Consultant with 6B band to my friend.

We both are having 6 YOE in Testing and have been tagged to the same project in IBM.

Then why this difference?? Am I loosing out on my designation?? Or is my friend loosing out on band??

Question on holding for earnings. I have Kroger 33C 6-19 and smaller play 34C 7/17. Also have GAN 20C 20 7/17. Kroger earnings are Thursday morning and GANs is Tuesday after close and call Wednesday at 11 Am. Regardless what either do tomorrow and Wednesday(Kroger) should I close my July calls before earnings due to IV crush especially GAN.

Anyone trade leaps? Trading weeklies have drained me.

All hype stocks have performed very poorly for me. Purchased NNDM, CCIV, AMC, BB, UWMC, PLTR. Wish I had done more DD, stuck to the fundamentals, and not succumbed to greed.

Thankfully the total amount invested in these is <5K and might just be an expensive lesson learnt. Hope these turn a corner in the future!

Can anyone tell me the glaring flaw in my strategy if there is one? In the next 2-3 months, I anticipate the election & Covid not slowing down and perhaps becoming more rampant. I think this will cause some correction in the market that will place it below what it is today. My plan is to slowly start liquidating, on green days , sell more, red days, buy less. If I’m wrong, I miss out on gains, if I’m right, it’ll hopefully save me a few years-a decade of trying to claw back money. Thoughts?
