Wait hold up, this shit alters the DNA of your children too? That should be reported more. Its easy to say "you should want your children immune too". The challenge is you dont always know of unintended side effects, hence all these medication lawsuits coming out 10-20 years after release when we realize they cause all sorts of terrible issues.

.......immunity passports and proof of vaccinations?! They can literally ban you from traveling ever again unless you take whatever random concoction of a vaccine they are putting together, which will largely be untested for year over year impact. The current purposed vaccine changes the root DNA of a cell which will be passed onto future generations. Moderna which won the Govt "prize" to create the vaccine has already skipped pass animal testing, isi n phase 2 of testing, NEVER produced any other product that's currently on the market, NEVER published medics research, promising 1bn vaccine units and a viable vaccine by July. You can't make this shit up. Google Moderna. There's plenty news articles about concerns around the firm and their proposed ideas even from the most balanced of news sources. This will change the future of the world as we know it. The smoking gun on the shoulders of which everything will be carried out in the interest of "safety".

Your criticism of Moderna shows how unfamiliar you are with the industry, they are an incredibly high caliber organisation with incredible scientists, and they’re not promising a widely available vaccine by July either... mRNA vaccines are incredibly promising and surely you would want immunity to be passed on?!

A1 - I understand your perspective and the limitations on trial design given the current circumstances, but at the same time I think given the attention and scrutiny Moderna will be under they won’t be looking to exploit loopholes, rather expedite parts of the development and approval process that (as you probably know) are in need of change as-is. Given their research experience with MERS and other viruses I feel like they were well positioned to move fast, but not for lack of scientific diligence.

Yeah there's no way anyone would travel again if things were this miserable. I highly doubt that the industry will risk losing so many customers after this huge loss period. This is clickbait. I mean come on, no automatic upgrades?

Separate discussion, I also see this being weaponized against the free press. "Oh how about that, you conveniently got a fever between getting on the plane and getting off. Looks like you won't be covering the small protests we are 'allowing' to take place. Oh and you can forget about covering those 'free' elections too. Don't worry, we aren't stuffing the ballot boxes!"

Hey everyone! Recent transplant (26 F) who moved here during Covid (family reasons) so still not quite familiar with the areas. I’m currently living in Brentwood but looking to move. I’m considering Marina Del Rey as I want to be a bit closer to the office (in Venice) and the airport for when things open back up/travel resumes. I tried searching here but didn’t see a lot - what is the reputation of Mar Vista (and if possible - how is that different than Brentwood?). All opinions welcome! 🙂

Does the amount of "Breakthrough Cases" rising among those fully vaccinated make anyone... wonder? Now there's a "Delta+" variant? Now they are saying "No vaccine is 100% effective so this is to be expected"? As if we're just suppose to shrug our shoulders after they have been pressuring everyone to get the vaccine? I'm fully vaxed but I can't help but wonder... this is what the Anti-Vaxers have been warning and saying the whole time and it's making me second guess which side I'm on...

Does anyone maybbbbbe think that this new “spike” in corona virus cases could be possibly caused by these massive riots in every major city? Not saying the riots are bad or wrong, but let’s not kid ourselves and say these aren’t a contributing factor. So when people are surprised at the USAs rising rates, I mean come on...

Does anyone know of where to find remote part time work opportunities for older Indian women? My mom was a part-time after school teacher but has not been doing that due to covid (dad is high risk). I’m having her do some online typing lessons to get her to be a faster typer, maybe find her a data entry gig. She does not want to do nanny’ing / babysitting. She’s a great teacher though and she’s trilingual (Telugu, hindi) - anyone know of where to find opportunities?

How do you manage sleep when traveling with a toddler? My daughter just turned two and she had been sleep trained and is an excellent sleeper BUT only sleeps in her own crib. I rock her until she falls asleep and put her in her crib. But this has to be in her room. If I rock her in my bedroom, she won't fall asleep. I want to take a vacation and I'm really afraid that she won't fall asleep in the hotel and will cry a lot. She sort of understands when we talk to her so I can communicate...

Unrelated to law, but need some advice on how to help a friend. One of my best friend’s dad is in the hospital in really bad shape. She’s home with her mom and siblings. I want to send food or do something for them, especially since they just found out they may have been exposed to covid when visiting their dad at the hospital (not by their dad), and they have to quarantine for 2 weeks. If I were closer I’d make food and drop it off, but they’re 200 miles away. Any ideas?

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?
