This is actually good news. Ill admit I was misinformed.

I know, I felt the same way!

Looks like conservatives are hanging by a straw. Nice try

Which part of it is untrue?

What's untrue is that the claims are just that the CDC is underfunded. That's not entirely it. It's more that the administration didn't listen to the CDC, leading to the California illness. That's still undetermined.

It’s like we are pretending the administration is tone deaf. But we’re not sure what is being ignored

So like a basic hospital lab can test corona virus from a rhino or adeno just not which one. May use that easy cheap test... since MERs and SARS1 are two of the seven....

Anyone else’s behaviors and habits change significantly post covid19. I.e. going to a bar seems like a hassle now. Movie and staying in my house is my usual Saturday now. I used to go out every single weekend precovid. I got used to never leaving my house 🏡.

How long is too long before meeting an SO’s parents? We’ve been together a little over 2.5 years and I still haven’t met them. Part of it is because they’re in India and we’re in the US and covid travel bans won’t allow it, but they have suggested FaceTime and my SO refuses. I think he wants to make sure it goes well but given our trip was planned December 2020 and won’t happen anytime soon, shouldn’t I at least meet them virtually? Am I reading into it too much?

I just found out that the person I was with last year is with someone new. We were separated because of distance/covid. It just makes me sad because I feel that covid took away the opportunity for us to be together and further develop the connection that we had. It was unique and hard to find. So much has changed. I’ll get over it and if we aren’t going to be together then I am sure it’s for the best. Just feeling this heaviness today.
