Some states are cancelling testing for the year. Do you think COVID could be the end of standaridized testing?

Not an immigration post, sorry. Crowdsourcing thoughts from Indians on Covaxin (Bharat Biotech vaccine for coronavirus). I assume a lot of you have older parents/family living in India. Would you advise them to get Covaxin - why/why not? Additional context - Covaxin is still undergoing phase 3 trials but has been granted EUA. They haven’t yet published their findings/data in a peer reviewed article. So I’m skeptical about recommending it but it might just be better than getting Covid.

Sitting at home winding yarn and listening to a training after waking up late. My best friend is 5 hours into a 12 hour retail shift she got after getting laid off thanks to COVID. How i get paid as much as I do is an absolute mystery lol. (Joke, obv i understand. It just seems silly I'm making multiples of what she is for literally a fraction of the work)

When coronavirus first started to get bad in the US, lots of brands jumped to create PSA messages, stay home messages, donated products and money. I wish more brands right now would do the same about wearing masks. I mean actively say “wear a mask, slow the spread”, not just ones like where amazon have shown people in their ad wearing a mask.

Friend moved wedding from May to November. Not feeling comfortable enough with Covid-19 situation to commit to the November date. What would you do? How would you feel?

Starting to feel distant from some friends over their covid choices - anyone else feel this? A close friend is going on vacations to visit other friends but hides this from the elderly parents they live rent free with. I can’t fathom the irresponsibility and it’s made me see them differently, to the point where I question our friendship.

How have kids yours or someone else's embarrassed you or their parents? - we were meeting a friend of mine and their kids at a social gathering, pre covid. We ask my friend's daughter what's her name. She responds and rattles off her name and her mom's name and her dad's name. And goes on to introduce us to her mom's boobs. Rofl. Says these are my mom's boobs.
