We call the block of copy that is the Reference list, the "reference block." But I suppose it could also mean that references block you from being a pharma copywriter.
What agencies really need are departments dedicated solely to getting pieces approved: they annotate all work and upload to veeva, then attend legal reviews and fight the good fight so we can focus on what we’re best at: concepting and writing.
You definitely need to know where the claims come from and be able to cite the exact source...
But I agree that the minutia of how one editor wants “para” and another wants the paragraph symbol, versus one editor wanting three bullets cited versus another wanting the whole para. Shit gets me down. And cuts into my ~creative spirit~ which is why you hired this wild stallion over from consumer in the first place.
Maybe it should be first round and then hand off to regulatory or something.
