Hey guys. I have a soon to be nonprofit church struggling because they already started services (collecting offerings too against my advice) before things were set with an EIN and they gave an event already planned out and are trying to find a way to spend and collect before the things are in order. They want to know if one of their small business owners can expense and collect then consider it a donation. Is this possible? Any advice or loopholes that are Legal and will avoid issues later on?

Seeking portfolio advice. 23 years old- 95k comp, 20k currently in market through the most basic Schwab index funds and Vanguard ETF’s, already max out 401k & IRA. My returns over the past year have been meager. I want to take on more risk and pick more concentrated investments. Whatever I go with, I want to hold them for the long run with no intention to sell. Any advice?

I've been putting my 401k into a target date fund, but the risk/upside just isn't high enough given I'm not retiring for another 30 years. Thoughts on putting it all in a large-cap growth fund (VIGIX)? Returns have been solid over last 10 years. Investing through work, so don't have all funds available to me.

At a former company, they let you expense $20 for working 10+ hours in a day, but you could never use it because it would always be rejected. Recently started at a new firm, and I had a rough week last week (two 14+ hour days). New firm has a similar policy, so I asked. Was told not to submit the $20 reimbursements. Just as I was about to get frustrated, he told me I should get dinner for my wife and me. Only rule was to keep it under $100. Don't like working 14 hour days, but this was nice.

I seriously doubt some of the recruiters and hiring managers in the big4s now a days, their decisions w.r.t. designation and pay depends on their mood and willingness to work on a particular day.. Hi. I have a question. In a world where COVID is under control, how would you feel if your companies went back to being fully in the office? How important is being able to work remote (at a location of your choice, not at client /travelling) a few days a week to your job satisfaction?
