Depends on market. We won’t see this in Seattle, but maybe in places like Austin or Boise?

As opposed to lying to them? This is why so many people are turning to stuff like Opendoor to sell their house, be honest with people, just because they aren’t a buyer now doesn’t mean they won’t come back to you in the future since you didn’t BS them.

It sounds more like you mislead them by not giving all of the information. We can’t predict the future and there is a good chance prices will go up. There is a good chance there will be even less inventory. There is a good chance that rates will go up. While yes it’s a sellers market, it might be even more of a sellers market next year. Be more transparent because you’re doing yourself a disservice
That’s not correct. Properties in my area are not getting multiple bids and selling at list price or less. So sentiments are changing
You’re a sales agent. Encourage them to buy what they can afford. We don’t know if/when the prices will drop…we said this a year ago and now look. Good deals can still happen in this market.
