How long do you usually get to write a new brand campaign brief for a new client? Trying to work out it 6-7 days is aggressive or not if I’m juggling a bunch of other projects on other accounts.

Title on here is out of date but I’ve got over ten years agency experience as a digital producer, highest level being EP and then Executive Director. Feeing underpaid compared to what I hear about client side (current base 110k, 15% bonus + commission)

I’d love to shift to client side as EP or Program Manager and looking for advice on best way to get my foot in the door.

Help me understand how budgeted hours are helpful when firm budgeted 4 hours for a brand new client and existing clients take 4-5 hours? Firms hope that staff will be efficient and let you know how long it actually takes and why it took longer than 4 hours, however what usually happens is that they either rush through it thinking 4 hours is the real budget and the work quality and learning experience will be terrible OR they will complete the work and eat hours to show 4 hours.

How on earth do you even approach talking about sign on bonuses? I started w Citi over 5 years ago. When I asked about this the recruiter was so offended. “I’ve never heard of someone getting a signing bonus,” which I call BS on. She was probably w Citi for over 25+ years. Let’s say her name is Jinmin Lee; client uses “Lee” as her first name.
