Someone from another department tried to brief my teams in on their project with zero context, info, or details for them to put together a creative response. I told them to supply that information first and that they could brief the team once they do and that I'd be happy to help.

They then spat the dummy and went straight to my boss saying I was not cooperating and making their job difficult. I've now got a meeting with my boss about this EOW.

I have been in the same company from past 9 years, working as project manager with production team not client facing role. Now, I want to switch as my pay(16lpa) is very less as compare to people posting here. How do you deal with a manager who always blame you for actions that the manager instructed me to do in the past? E.g. manager reviews client decks with you and instructs to just note a strict budget to report. After a week, manager rereads the same deck and blames me for not supporting the budget that was added per the manager’s request. We always have this situation, no matter how much I ask for clarity in any internal reviews. I even sent back the emails and slack chats as an attachment.

Currently working at an insurtech as a Strategy Associate and was offered a position on the IT team by a SVP. The position comes with a decent pay raise, but my title would be Business Analyst. For those with company equity or unit incentive programs, is it common to forfeit vested equity upon voluntary departure? Explained as a “retention tool” but essentially held captive by a payout since the contract says equity doesn’t fully vest at 100% until the company is resold. If I quit at any time before a sale date, I lose all of the equity that has already vested. This was offered to a few employees in leadership but feels like not that great of a deal to me. Is this normal?

10 months in a new global brand side role,former agency of 15 years. Really struggling to find my footing.
