Priority Date: Oct 2016, EB2, become current in May 2021, From Company A
H1B max our date: March, 2022
Employment: Currently works at Company B, and want to switch to Deloitte (Company C)

Am I still eligible for extension beyond 6 years? Deloitte immigration team says yes but attorney says no...very confusing. Thank you!

Is it worth moving to countries like Canada, Australia just for money if husband and wife together earns 40L+ INR and potential for more as we both have 5-6 years of exp and still learning.

Also, we both are very family and friends oriented, but peer pressure and social media is making us think about it. Honestly, we don't want to be left behind.

One positive of the COVID 19 (please don’t rip me a new one for saying that) is I needed monitors for my new house’s home office and now Deloitte gave me a buy one get one basically.

I’m a 2nd attorney who recently moved from ID to PI defense representing large multinational corporations in slip and fall accidents and MVAs. I have full autonomy over my cases and the experience is incredible but I hate billables, reporting to clients, and I don’t love personal injury. I’m still inexperienced and have ways to go. I get great feedback from the partners and know I’m doing a good job. However I can’t shake this feeling that I’m not where I’m supposed to be. v v v

Wish you could put pay raise on the resume (yearly % increase). Why? My title hasn't changed in a while but I'm getting pay bumps at every review . I make more than ACDs and some CDs at my agency (fact checked). A result of the ECD (the one to approve promotions) not caring for the account I'm on so no visibility. My direct report CD sees my worth and makes sure to keep me financially happy using his budget. I'm not on the "sexy" clients but the ones keeping the lights on and I'm good at it.

How do I establish boundaries? I just starting working at a new company and don’t know how to.

In your agency, you do a review with Client Servicing team or just CD? Who set the reviews, you, CD or the CS team? Here CS team set all the reviews, I'm working and a review just pops for next day 10 am. It annoys me. Feels like they are the boss when should be us, creatives, scheduling when we’re ready.
