I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I love the “why would you buy a depreciating asset” comment.
People forget that money is a means to an end, and not the end itself. Money provides us with many things - security, comfort, joy. Those are the things we want, and money allows us to get them.
If you’re making over $200k at a young age and want to use money for one of its intended purposes. I say go for it, particularly if you are also already competently addressing the other things by saving and investing and don’t let the splurge become the norm instead of a somewhat rare treat.
@accenture 3 by doubting people’s salaries you’re just exposing how few of these options you had at that age....
Why do you want to have a rapidly depreciating asset?

I strongly encourage you to get something cool but corvettes are for old guys. Get an M4, ZL1, a Cayman, maybe even a GT350/GT500 if you can find one in your budget.
I don’t think it’s true about Alfa Romeo QV. The price difference between used 2019 and new 2021 is only 13%. Covid created market shortage for European cars.
Some others to consider in a similar price range that I’d probably choose over the C8:
- C63 AMG
- M3
- RS5
- Model S
- Cayman S
- Hellcat (this one’s debatable)
Im offended you put a Model S on that list, and that no one else commented. Long live internal combustion.

I don't judge either. You can be male, female, short, high, fit, chubby.. Doesn't matter as long as I can spend your cash.
Honestly, get into watches instead. You’ll be able to pass those down as heirlooms. Cars, not so much.
My dad gave me his IWC petit prince pilot watch and I love it; check it out
Go for it, enjoy if you’d like. It’s a great performance for the price.
If you can afford, it’d personally probably enjoy a corvette in my 20s much more than saving diligently and having a Ferrari in my 60s
Also, when you’re in twenties your body can actually bend enough to have sex in a sports car, not the case in your 60s.
If your going to buy an expensive car at least get something a little less douchy
This, exactly.

Do it!
I look at the advice of Graham Stephan. Instead of buying a new car, buy a vintage car instead that has already gone through nearly all of its depreciation. That way you can drive it and have fun, but can then sell it at a minimal loss when you’re done.
Up to you what that car will be.
Actually in the process of doing this right now with a 1969 Chevelle SS
Non car people will never get it.
Bought a RS3 no regrets.
I used to offset the cost of sports cars by renting them out on Turo- however, it can quickly become a headache if an accident occurs. Otherwise, a few rentals a month and your monthly payments can easily be covered.
Do it! I bought a new Audi S3 when I was a new staff. Some may say it was an awful way to spend money but it made me smile every day, not because it’s an Audi, but because I’m a car guy and everything about it. Thinking about getting an M2 now.

Never been a big corvette fan, but the new c8 is sick and is not expensive for the way it looks.
Agreed. Have historically leaned towards german cars but this one has me very intrigued.
Save for it and pay cash. That way you aren't a slave to the lenders terms
Not if the interest rate is lower than the growth rate of the market

Why talk you out of it? Spend your money how you please. Two requests...
1. Drive it on some open roads. Don't be the doucher driving his silver Ferrari through Arlington every day in 2nd gear.
2. Don't be a dick, weaving through us normal folks already going 80. You may want the added danger, we don't; we have families to get home to.
