Talk to me about going from 2 to 3. I feel like 3 kids is such a rarity in this industry that it’s daunting to make the leap. I don’t know a single person in my office with 3 kids. I worry 3 is going take our lives from semi-manageable chaos to complete anarchy. But… I think we want a 3rd. My kids are young (toddler and baby), and if we do go ahead we’d want to do it in the next year or so.

Does anyone here struggle with balancing work and attending to children at home as a single mother. I work from home in a very demanding job as a manager and I feel horrible that I have to sacrifice time with my children to work. I want to be successful at work and climb the corporate ladder, but at the same time my children don’t get the attention they need, especially my 6 year old that can barley read.

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.

I’m a first time mom(breastfeeding) of a 7 month old and returned to work this week.I’m allocated a short term project with a small team and looks like I might be the only point of contact(sole dependency) for the area I’m working on.
Now, what are some of the expectations I can set up with the team with only my husband who is on his paternity leave and I taking care of the baby right now.

For 5 years I basically had 10 frequent clients. Now those clients have brought me an average of two each, and now I have 30 constant clients and a bunch of clientele in my agency. It's true that serious, responsible, and consistent work pays off, let's say that I no longer worry about selling, practically, the houses that I show sell themselves.

Is it worth it to buy a house in what is essentially the middle of nowhere? The price is unbeatable, but it’s far away from the nearest town by about an hour.
