Hello! I am currently a registered travel nurse but have been working on pursuing a career in Pharmaceutical sales for a while now. I have recently applied to some positions with Astrazeneca and Eli Lily company and I would be so grateful if anyone could provide me with a referral for these positions. I would be happy to send my resume and discuss why I feel I would make a great addition to these teams! Thank you!

“Kids aren’t loyal these days.”
Why should they, or anyone, be loyal to any ad agency? I’ve seen the most loyal and hard-working people get tossed to the curb at every single place I’ve worked. If I’ve learned anything at all, it’s that loyalty is for suckers.
I’ve developed an extremely high distrust and distaste for every single agency C-suite person in the biz, no matter how caring and kind they seem on the surface, and those feelings will never go away.
Seeing lifers get laid off in your first agency after being at the agency since it’s inception (20+ years) really puts things in perspective early on 🙃
What is the point of being loyal with no Pension Plans anymore??
Ultimately, and sadly, loyalty on both sides is a more difficult concept in an industry that has become far more project driven, and where clients kind of come & go with greater frequency.
Agencies have become more like movie studios or home builders. The agency is as large and strong as the number and type of projects they have in the pipeline. Long time retained clients are simply more rare nowadays.
BTW - this is why business development people have become so critical. They aren’t doing the work, but an agency has to be constantly prospecting for business…and an agency needs to be successful at it.

It’s funny ANYONE in advertising mentioning the words “loyalty” and “agency” in the same sentence.
Agreed - despite the fact this is obviously a fake convo made-up for LinkedIn - the other notion that is hilarious is “younger generation” - with the blatant ageism in advertising there is barely anyone over 40.
