I can't decide if I want to go into project management or change management consulting positions. Would love to hear your thoughts on the advantages of going a more HC route!
NEED ADVICE: I'm going to put my 2 weeks notice in mid-project. Should I cordially email my engagement manager/director, coach, and relationship partner with my last day/thank them for my time here?
During lunch earlier today, partner mentions he would like the project team to minimize expenses to 10%. Feel it would severely impact the quality of life. How to push back?
Is it within my rights to refuse Sunday travel? Travel to the client office location requires a layover and ~7 hour flight time each way. I estimate I’ll be on the road for ~18 hours a week. (Cont.)
How do we feel about sleeveless dresses / shirts in the office? I’m in wealth management and client facing.
I usually wear sleeves but I’ve been binge watching Suits and have serious Jessica Pearson outfit envy. I’ve been looking at dresses like this one - what do you think, acceptable with clients?
Let's start an argument. Working 100% remote absolutely downgrades your interpersonal relationships with coworkers, execs, and clients while also keeping you within your own bubble of assigned areas and not allowing you to hear conversations about other areas to develop you further. We need to be back in the office 3-4 days a week for our own best interest. Yes we've proven we can do audits virtually, but our staff have suffered tremendously in their development these past 2 years.

How often do your clients complain about your consulting team? I feel like there’s a new consultant the client is unhappy about every week.
Looking to leave agency world and go client side in marketing/consumer insights/brand strategy. 5+ yrs strat experience agency side and did some brand mgt for a startup as well. Any tips or advice from those who’ve made the jump? Is there client-side appetite for agency people or brand strat opportunities on the other side?
Leaving current firm to join client side, am I obligated to disclose any of this? Are policies that prevents us from doing so?
Hi all. I started a new role with a company I’ve been with for 2 years. The role is very much an SME role and can be quite boring sometimes. When hired I was told that this role would do a lot of different projects and skys the limit but after 7 months, I’ve been doing 1 project and when asking about role expansion essentially told to stay in my lane. My first thought was performance issues but manager confirmed not that. It’s getting really boring and need more engagement. What should I do?

Client to film director (in front of actor) “Can’t we just put him in Spanx? He’s looking a bit too chubby on screen.”
I’m currently on one part time project and one full time project. Tomorrow and next week I have to present for the full time project. I feel extremely overwhelmed and underprepared as the part time has been keeping me busy almost full time. I want to push back but I’m not sure on which project I should. The full time project has a senior con, so should I try to speak with the senior con and pjm about my situation? Or just push through? I almost felt like crying this morning, was so ambitious
