Sometimes I look at the Tech fishbowl and see TC of 200k, 300k, even 400k plus for people with the same YOE as me... I love my field/job, but does anyone else ever feel like they made a mistake going into HR?

Hello all. Looking for thoughts and opinions. I’ve been a sales manager with a small company (I refuse to say it is a start up anymore since they bring in several million in ARR). I’ve been with them for a year and a half. I started at 50k and now make 63k. I am a full-cycle sales manager…the company does not believe in the use of BDRs. There’s no opportunity for growth. Is my salary fair (per MA standards)? I was promised high OTE… but with no marketing team I also hardly get leads.

When I was headhunted for the job, ESG was a relatively new concept and too few companies hire for related positions. I didn't find any salary range from Glassdoor or anywhere so I had no idea. My fault was I did not ask the HR and just gave my asking salary. When I saw a similar post from my company (I was already hired that time), they were already including the pay range and I realized mine was way below. I'm already 2.8 yrs in the role.

Curious to know how you are handling current inflation rates versus 3% merit increases. Are you adjusting merit increases for inflation? If not, how are you handling those conversations?

Hi, what vendors do you like for 360 assessments?

I work for a CPA firm, 45-50 employees, and we're looking at expanding our benefits package. Right now, we only offer 2 or 3 weeks vacation, 1 week paid sick time, healthcare, 401(k) with profit sharing, and Life/Long-term disability coverage. No dental, no parental leave, no ST disability, no EAP etc.

Hello! I'm evaluating various companies that allow for web-based assessments ... potentially behavioral and skill-based ... to integrate into our interview process. I have three years of experience in agency recruiting and HR. I’m currently making 47k as an HR Coordinator. I accidentally said sucks/ and a hiring managers first name in a 2nd interview for a TABP role and the company told the recruiter now they aren’t sure if they want to hire me because it. Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP.
