My CEO whom I work closely with is a complete narcissist. When she speaks to me it’s so condescending and rude it’s making me sick. I thought I was hiding it well but apparently I’ve gotten to the point where I am visibly stressed. A colleague asked was I okay after our teams meeting yesterday. I want to quit but finding a job is difficult these days. Should I hire a coach or contact recruiters? What’s the best method?

Partner staffed me, another mid & a junior on a deal. Plenty that junior could help with but it’s clear he’s not tracking the deal and not gonna do anything unless specifically asked. (He’s a 3rd or 4th year) Are we unreasonable for being frustrated he’s not taking more initiative if we haven’t specifically asked, or are juniors nowadays taking a “don’t speak unless spoken to” approach that we just need to get used to? I can’t tell if I’m a bad manager or if he’s just lazy.

So it's 4:00pm on a Friday and the client is obviously not getting you those PBCs. Do you A: ask for more work to hit your billables? or B: enjoy the weekend off?

What firms have the least hours? Are there any firms (preferably in South Florida) where the norm where busy season almost never goes over 50 hours a week and the rest is generally 40 hours most of the time?

I kinda like being able to switch clients every few months or weeks and every industry job I look into just seems so boring.
