Talk about a strategy pivot
Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

I was at a big shop for several years, through several layoffs. I survived by being valuable to the agency in the work and the culture. If it’s shrinking any good shop keeps the solid people. When it turns around you usually have a strong, dedicated crew of talented people. Might be worth sticking it out if that’s for you.
You are right .. Edible Arrangement is on way to you for that!
72 NYC is going through some rough times. But damn...I can’t imagine Laundry Service being the soft landing. Creatively or financially.
If this is for 72LA vs LS LA I would say stick with 72 until something else comes along. I’m ex 72, current freelance and I’ve chatted with LS. Maybe I’d do it for a temp gig but def not full time.
Is 72 not still leagues better than laundry service?
Can you share more as to why you’re unsure about stability? Is it about bouncing back after losses early last year?
Speaking from experience, it’s not secret Droga had a ROUGH year not long ago between lost clients and scandals. We’ve been able to bounce back, both in culture and business. If you guys are taking the time to reflect types of clients/projects you’re pursuing, are conscious of strategic growth, and doing things to get culture back, there’s no reason shouldn’t bounce back.
Unless there are other reasons as to why you’re unsure
So many agencies are the Titanic these days. The real lifeboats are client side.
Yawn.
Another ex-LS person here. Avoid it at all costs.
Proud of you OP
It depends on why you’d leave 72. If you want your voice and opinion to matter then it it is worth consideration. But know what you’re giving up to get that. Everything else probably won’t be any better.
Feel that, thank you!
Thanks everyone ✌🏽 I really appreciate the insight of all sides.
I worked at LS previously. Don’t go there. It’s a mess internally and nepotism is rampant there.
Another former LS employee..avoid at all costs.
You’d be better off going to Vayner or McCann or some place like that.
Yeah it’s tough right now.
I’d say avoid places like mcgarry where you just won’t end up with anything good for your book because the agency doesn’t do work like that.
Just how bad is it at 72 NY now?
Entities aside? The offices are vaguely related. Layoffs in any city don’t effect the others. And thank you for your support!
Curious what office you’re in, OP
