How should I tell my team I am pregnant? Context: I found out at the very start of the case and have kept it under wraps despite having to mute some conference calls to vom, etc. We have two weeks left and I plan to be transparent with staffing and future cases going forward, as I’m past 12 weeks, so it’s likely they would find out. I like my team but I don’t have a super close personal relationship with them & this is my first case with this group. Email? Slack message? Zoom call?
Is anyone else falling for someone over this quarantine period purely through text and zoom calls?
When you and your manager randomly geek out about VR over Skype instead of finishing up a deliverable - Friday's, am I right? 😎
Attended a public academic lecture on zoom, which was abruptly taken over by disturbed kids chanting racist comments and spreading hatred. Has anyone else also experienced this? Feeling shook 💔
A few weeks ago I had a boss make fun of me on a call for looking “gloomy” and he wouldn’t let it go. He kept yelling in a joking way at me to ‘cheer up’ in front of others on a zoom call. I wasn’t being rude, just quieter that day, as I was going through a mental health issue. . It’s been eating at me the way he bullied me on call - should I say something ? I feel a 55 year-old man should’ve learned not to do this by now... don’t know how to come at it without seeming whiny WOC...
Microsoft is like anti Midas. Everything it touches turns to shit. Take Skype or linked in for example🤔
Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Slack, Texting, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, DropBox, WeTransfer ..... SYSTEM OVERLOAD! Am I right??
Slow zoom on photo of desolate city. Flourishing piano music. Two lines of copy on white background. More slow zooms on photos of people. Uplifting line of copy on white background. Logo Endcard.
I hosted a zoom bridal shower recently and need to mail out a couple prizes to game winners - any suggestions of cool things under $25 on Amazon that you'd appreciate as a prize?
I’m trying to record Skype meetings while I take notes on OneNote but the option is greyed out. How do I fix this?
What y’all sippin’ on (or whatever you wanna do) when we all go on down to the Zoom call come Sunday 👀🥃🍷🥂
Has anyone done a digital dinner before? A guy from dating app asked to do one, we decided on a same dish to make on our own and then chat over dinner. So do we do zoom or FaceTime on a laptop? Cause it’d weird to hold the phone and eat at the same time. How does the logistics work?
Anyone here fly in/out of DCA or IAD within the last month or so? Trying to get a feel for which airport may be better with COVID in terms of less people, better sanitation, rule following etc. Also, I’ve heard Delta is the better airline at the moment but where I’m headed I can only take United or AA (for nonstop)- anyone recommend one over the other?
Salary research: Client side Marketing Managers in the Boston or nearby, what do you make? I have 10 years of ad agency experience managing and negotiating campaigns of all kinds. Thinking $100k+.

So, Trump is giving corporations a 20% tax break and is taking away the tax benefit of contributing to your 401k. So he effectively took our money and gave it to corporations. Take that middle class.
Diagnosed case of coronavirus of a person who works in Hoboken and Five Times Square. Just curious, is anyone's boss still making them come to the office?
Chewing like a cow and smacking and popping gum are the sounds I got to enjoy on my flight by the consultant next to me. I feel like I am back in the 8th grade

Help with a crisp answer to this Interview question for corporate development role: how do you identify potential target companies for acquisition and how do you evaluate them?
Hey y’all: currently weighing the benefits of obtaining an MBA. Started career with 2.5 years of corporate FP&A, then moved to Senior Consultant at a high growth Mgt Consulting firm (1.5 years in). I’ve seen roles back in industry require (interchangeably) MBA or 2-year management consulting experience. Are MBAs helpful/necessary for consultants...just to have one? Should it be more purpose-driven? Etc.
I'm really good at my job, a high performer and have visibility with partners. However, I hate it. I wake up in the mornings feeling angry and resentful. I'm not able to exercise creativity as I'd like to, and feel I'd be happier in a completely different field. I'm scared to leave behind the reputation I've built. Big 4, it's safe/comfortable/addictive and Im addicted to being on cruise control. Anyone else been through the same?
Is it bad if I schedule an interview and then not show up cuz I got an offer from another firm. Obviously I won’t just ghost them.
My bf was just asked to go back to the office (not an essential worker). We’re on the west coast so still have COVID cases. Are there workplace protections that he can use if he says he’s not comfortable with it yet? We live together and are both uncomfortable with the idea, but don’t want to risk him getting fired or experiencing backlash at work. He’s been working from home for 9 weeks already.
I have various direct reports that I feel are more worried about getting all their vacation in before end of year than doing there work right. Very annoyed lately.
When it comes to layoffs do you think parents are considered safe because they have mouths to feed or it doesn’t matter?
Anyone work in any of the MBB and do security work? I am shifting over and would like some insight. Thanks!
