I left Education and started on my software company's small Automation team October 2019. Our immediate supervisor/head of QA left Thanksgiving. Now my only other team member put in his notice. My company doesn't have QA pay levels and my title is inaccurate (JR QA Analyst). I am told to research what I feel my salary should be and dicuss with new head of QA after they start in a couple weeks. Leaving out advice to find another company, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I need some thoughts on what to ask for a starting salary. My background is ten years in tech support, and currently Lead Graphic Designer for my department with about four years of graphic design behind that. I also just finished my master's degree in Human Computer Interaction design (and was among the top in my class). I thought $80k as an absolute minimum ask but considering my credentials and education I really don't want to undersell myself. I'd appreciate thoughts on the matter.

I’m a bit confused as to how pursue projects. I got hired as a Data Science Consultant as part of Global AI. There aren’t many available roles within Global AI or Solutions AI. Is it better to be under Applied Intelligence rather than Global Applied Intelligence and if I pursue projects that are not under AI or Global AI does that affect my promotion/raises?

When I compare two Word docs with comment bubbles in order to generate a PDF redline...all of the Word comment bubbles show up in tiny, unreadable margins. It looks like the program doesn’t adjust the margins when comparing, I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I used to use Change-Pro (which I understand is also owned by Litera) where this was not an issue.
