2) it depends on where you’re starting from. some weight is always better no than no weight. can mix in circuits, plyo, single sided to make things harder
Agree with others but also maybe get another set of weights slightly heavier like 12 lbs? I do Sydney Cummings workouts too and having a light/medium pair and heavy pair works great

Depends on how strong you are before you start! Once it gets too easy, you’ll know
I love Sydney! She saved me at the beginning of covid when I couldn't go to bootcamp classes. If you're doing upper body exercises try doing them on your knees. You'll find that bicep curls, shoulder presses and other upper body exercises are more challenging.
