Our contract is due to expire in November in NYC. The agency has already sent us a Lease renewal for next year. However, we want to negociate the extension a little. We are looking into two scenarios: 1. Shorter lease term (6 months to 9 months) or 2. One year but lower rent. How would you put this to them knowing how notorious leasing agents are? Thanks.

Deferred basis in a partnership. If I am looking to prove out the ending deferred related to an investment in a partnership is it as “simple” as taking the initial contribution and rolling in taxable income year over year for tax basis. For book basis initial investment rolling in book income year over year. Minus any distributions for both.

I got an Amex card and have honestly been incredibly disappointed in the service. Everyone raves out the service, and yet I signed up and the link to the temporary card number gave me an error, then they charged me incorrectly for a duplicative fee, then I couldn’t actually active the physical card without calling yet again.
