Sort of a silly question, but I’m curious about team dinners. How often do they occur on a project with travel? Weekly? 2-3 per week? Also, are they always at the highest end restaurants (especially in the big cities)? I had a friend tell me that the Partner on their case looks for “the most extravagant restaurant possible” for team dinners. Incoming BA/A/AC and this was just an interesting question that popped into my head.

It depends (great answer). I typically grabbed dinner with my team 2-3x per week. Partners would join once a week / every other week and those restaurants were typically nicer (but not michelin star nice).

You eat together often especially if you get along, it’s not always a fancy meal, just whatever works best which may or may not be fancy. I’d say full blown fancy meals are once in 2-3 weeks with the full team.
