But if everybody did it, we’d have to find a new way to get that sweet hit of moral superiority 😇
Having worked a grocery store and did this job for a year (for 7.25), you have no idea how much this can get me fired up.

I guess I’ve been one of the lucky ones who haven’t experienced it
Store employees literally get paid to round them up
Some people use the excuse there are people paid to put carts back and they specifically dont put it back saying not my job.
I think in reality it is unfortunate they had to create another job responsibility to put carts back since most people are not respectable citizens.
For the people who do put it back, and are upset about it, yes just putting it back for others helps vs just complaining about it, but it stinks it has to be that way.

I get super frustrated at this. Not just because it's the right thing to do, but because free rolling carts dent cars.
When i got my new car with a week a cart rolled and hit it and put a dent in the bumper... A few weeks back, i watched the couple in front if me load their car then just leave the cart /pushed it slightly away and it rolled and slammed into the car a few spots away.
It's so selfish.

Somehow, I could always figure out how to do this—no matter if I was 9 months pregnant, or even with a baby while shopping alone. In the city. Laziness and inconsideration of others turns my soul dark.
