So Xbox Game Pass - in the easiest way to describe is Netflix. They pay $10 a month and have a library of a couple hundred games to play for no extra cost, and for as long as they want. Some through the cloud, others can be downloaded to play locally.
It also includes all Xbox first part games day and date so plenty of people never technically "bought" Halo Infinite they just had access to it as part of that month's $10 fee.
Huh, yeah that’s pretty neat. As long as it was not onerous to onboard and off board when I’m in a drought, I’d probably subscribe to that.
I am looking to be educated and surprised. I have PSN just so I can get a few decent games for free, and pick up ones I’m interested in on deep discount a year after they release.
I have no idea what Now or Games Pass offer or what they cost, so I have no expectations for Spartacus.
Though I'd like to, I still can't get a PS5, so don't really care about this in the slightest
Sorry, assumed you were looking to upgrade from a PS4.
I don't know if Spartacus can deliver even close to the same value prop as game pass. Game pass ultimate is $15/mo, gives me access to hundreds of games on PC and the Xbox. I also can stream some games from my phone with the cloud option, and have access to 1sy party games on day one for free.
Aside from having yet another sub, and access to the handful of exclusives I like and would buy anyway, I don't know of the value is there.
