Yeah I get 10-20k miles per delay from American

like

I file a complaint in American Airlines complaint form portal online. It asks for all info (your flight number, frequent flyer number, departing / arriving airport etc.). Then in the comments say something like "I'm a loyal AA flyer, I fly every week and usually hold your airline to a higher standard than others, but my experience yesterday is starting to test my loyalty. We spent this many hours on the Tarmac yada yada yada... Would appreciate anything you can to do compensate for this unfortunate experience" then you get an email saying they put 10k miles on your account. I've earned over 100k additional miles due to delays this year.

like

Reason? If not weather or air traffic and you aren't proactively offered miles, write a letter/email. You'll at least get miles.

P1 what do you do exactly to get them to give you those miles?

Agree with P1. I usually say AA usually does much better and that I'm very disappointed. Last time got me a 200 voucher - sat in the runway for 50 minutes waiting for maintenance to move a plane from the gate and ended up missing my connection, last flight of the night, even though I was there at departure time and the closed the door 10 minutes early knowing damn well I was sitting on a plane feet away waiting for a gate.

The problem is we are unable to find the kind of guys who would be compatible with her in our community..

I have a lot of Marriott Bonvoy points (7 figures) and my wife and I would like to travel somewhere for two weeks.

Assume for brainstorming that anywhere in the world there is a Marriott property is an option. Category 8 peak rates work too. Have fun with this. What are some destinations and hotel options?

If you joined consulting out of undergrad prior to 2020, do you still like your job now that it’s fully remote? Now I feel like this job is lame and I dont even know what my clients look like and just talk to a screen all day. been in downward spiral since COVID, struggling with being alone, loved the travel, teams. got depressed and angry. Dreaded work. In the process got to drinking 4 up to 15 drinks most days. Gained weight. Didn’t care about living. Have tried to stop over and over. Last week I woke up with a bloody nose and for the first time cared. I don’t know what changed. I am 7 days sober and I am starting to feel like the me I remember! I am proud! I am thankful! I just needed to share!
