This is such bullshit I tell you. Went to school for accounting but like honestly at school they make it seem like if you don't get a job at big4 your degree is a waste.. Now as I imagine my future there is not way I will have a work and life balance if I stay doing this and when do I even have time to start a family. Oh well I have to find someone first right. I don't have time for that.. 🙄

My advice is completely get on either a private company or one that's gone public. You'd be surprised at how quickly they'll hire us all just because we've been trained in our respective fields. It's valuable to whichever company you are able to get hired by. And whatever company you choose all the skills in accounting are translatable to business if you just want to make the switch.

I swear I did the same last night 😅😓

I am applying for a job at a consulting firm and it seems like the role I am applying for is a step down for me. Thoughts?
