SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.

Your high school transcripts??? What a PITA!!!

like

Oh no! Recently took the exam and passed. Yes, they randomly select applications to audit and it’s usually pretty rough. One thing to think about is taking the PHR and hoping you don’t get selected their too 😂 maybe chat with them and see what they say and what they will accept? Good luck!

😔

I've never heard of an application audit actually

I had this, this is why I save all my HRCI certificates to my email. I just attach all the PDFs to the application. Use Tools2Suceed it’s only $300 for 120 credits of e learning . Take photos of your degrees and email them.

I've never dealt with it, but have heard of this. So sorry OP, I know it can be incredibly frustrating

Looking for tips. College was not for me while I was young. Since then I have built a great track record at my previous job in sales, succeeded in a project manager internship, and have exceeded at the role for a year now. She now requires that I go back to the office to “show face” that HR is right alongside the essential employees. I have been more productive from home vs the office. I get the perspective of team unity, but is it wrong to feel there is no reason to risk my health? The company justifies increasing my covid risk (high-risk already) to “show face”, when my job is being fulfilled while WFH. Am I crazy?

I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? I don’t want to seem disingenuous or that we are singling out our diverse employees (asking for photos). We have a remote and on-site workforce about 350+ EEs. Non white EEs make up about 35% of the company rn.

Without looking, I was recently offered a role at another company for about 30% more salary and 10x the amount of stock options, but I have only been at my current employer for less than a year and feel really guilty about leaving so soon into my tenure. I'm wondering if I should take the new position, even after less than a year at my company? I can't shake my guilt even though it seems like a no-brainer.
